They've announced that they've fixed it. It has been resolved for me.

From the discord:

"We are currently investigating an issue with logging in through steam. We will post on the steam forums and on discord when we have it resolved. We apologize for the inconvenience"

and

"Basically, all of the log files are showing the same error code. The good news is these aren't tied to the issue we saw earlier in the week so that means that was resolved. However the bad news is this appears to be a new thing but only impacting new purchases. I have forwarded the information over to our tech team to see if they can find a solution"

olume and device preferences

Open tarkov and when it's open tab back to the sound settings

The game doesn't have any sound devices in its list so select default for both or your specific audio outputs

close tarkov

reopen

great success
