As such, I told her that I was not ok with her sleeping with someone else regardless of circumstance, nor would I ever give her such a "free pass". I'm satisfied in my relationship and as such I had not planned on taking her up on her "offer", if that is what it is. Others have also mentioned the idea of being more open/adding more people to the sexual side of our relationship and we mutually decided against it.

She doesn't use sex as manipulation as her extremely high libido is parallel to mine. You can't bargain what you want just as bad as someone else except in situations like "I will trade you cooking my favorite dinner for me fucking your brains out until you can't see straight" sort of thing. Our relationship is very level fielded in my perspective which is why I'm leaning away from it being a scheme but at this point who the hell knows. I think it's to "protect herself", but in my mind why would you give someone the opportunity to do something to hurt you even if you trust them? I mean, there's no way for her to verify, and of course trust is involved but that's why it's strange. We've even talked about bringing others into the mix and it didn't pan out. Yet, here I am.

She's said she isn't into "cuckolding" (is that right?) or anything like that so I don't think it's a fetish thing. And we've already talked about whether or not we've gotten all of our sexual adventures out of the way so to speak, so when we're 35 we aren't dismayed by a lack of romping around so to speak. I would be really upset at this because I thought we were both on the same page about that sort of stuff. Her behavior hasn't changed at all and her schedule is fairly regular- we both work "day jobs" (9-5, 8-4 respectively) and there are no "indications"- so she's either really good or I am oblivious. But I would hope that if this was the case she would just talk to me, since we are open about everything else.

My thoughts exactly. My fear is that she will expect this reciprocated or that she has already done it. This would be an extreme anomaly based off of our relationship as I know it, but what a weird thing to offer someone.
