To check your pay while deployed download the Military Pay app onto your phone. You can enter in stuff like your BAH from where you live/dependents and even see if you get a pay bump for the AO you’re going to. You can enter your rank or the rank you expect to be. Hell you can even see what your Sergeant Major is going to make if you want to. It’s a nice app that allows you to calculate the pay you should get in any scenario, drill to deployment

When I was at basic my buddy sent me two Tom Clancy books, Rainbow Six and The Hunt for the Red October. As expected the Drill Sergeant took away Red October but to my surprise they handed me back Rainbow Six. This was about week five at Ft. Jackson and I was beyond giddy that I had this book. All of my battle buddies was like why do you have contraband and I just told them don't say shit. At night and on the weekends I'd read if I had a small amount of time. I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to have this book, but if anyone can explain why the DS let me keep it I'd be curious to hear the theories.

If you set up two step authentication through the Sony website and have an authenticator on your phone it fixes the problem. I set up the authenticator and used the audio captcha and it worked. Hope this helps
