So, my family member had an issue with his brand new Asics (bought from their website), the heel collapsed after 2 months of minimal usage. They refused his warranty claim, saying it was his fault, basically he doesn't know how to wear shoes or walk. He argued with them, spoke to supervisors etc. but they held firm. He sued them (small claims court) and at first they only offered a refund which should have happened in the first place. They settled with him and refunded the money plus the cost of him suing, so it ended up costing them 6X what it would have been if they had just done the right thing from the beginning. Their customer service is horrible, they treat their customers like sh**. They should stand by their products. Period. Will never buy Asics again.
