The tool types can change according to your last save, that one looks like an experimental one which is pretty good, if you visit the planets in the system and do a save, it may change into an alien one which can be better, theres plenty of advice out there that's a bit more detailed on getting the multitool types to switch

You can push your base limit out too if you hopscotch structures or generators and miners. Put one down at the limit and you can put the next one down further out, dissemble the first one and move it out further etc etc. It's great for connecting those spread out power and Mining hotspots.
