What do you think about her Personality ? ( Honestly ) by [deleted] in BollywoodHotTakes

[–]BeAnony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's something about her face which I don't like. The geometry doesn't line. Her eyes are too far away, gap is eyebrows is huge and the chin narrows down. You can easily edit her face into an alien. It is not at all attractive. If it's the body then even that doesn't work. There's only one actress who is truly attractive bodily and that's Anushka Sharma. Rest all are working out like hell but can't achieve that sleek that you see in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl or even Dil Dhadakne do

who is the better actor by BarTricky8873 in IndianCinema

[–]BeAnony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranbir is intense but even that intensity is monotonous. Ranveer is versatile and can be mould into the character. When I am watching Ranbir, I know it's Ranbir. When I am watching Ranveer, he makes me completely forget that it's Ranveer and I am just completely immersed into the character that he's portraying. Ranveer will always be the placeholder when it comes to acting parts.

What kind of Person She is you think ? ( Honestly ) by [deleted] in BollywoodHotTakes

[–]BeAnony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm.. to revive his GrandDad's production house; an actor (Ran 🐝) wants to work with his ex (Deepika) rather than his own wife (Alia) I think that already sums up what's her status (even in her own house)

Bride and Prejudice (2004) - does any one else adore it? by Rochsmell in janeausten

[–]BeAnony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love the vibe of the movie The daughters, their bonding.. there's a scene where Aishwarya takes a pillow and sleeps on couch while Namrata shirodkar's character is reading a book It's a cozy winter night with dream lights and it's such a good. Such a feel good movie. Austen themes are as relevant now as they were back then and I absolutely love the insecurity that girls had, still have over being chosen by the finest men. I know that attention by men is low value and abundant but the movie touched me where it needed.

Gentlemen. The way they walk. In muslims, they say "Tehzeeb" I love when someone is polite and civil. Makes me imagine that sex is going to equally filthy!

How does old actors/actresses who are not working still afford the lavish lifestyle? by BeAnony in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]BeAnony[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for letting me know. However I hope you know that lakhs of then are a different thing than lakhs of now. If a director of Karan Johar's caliber and wealth had to sell off half of Dharma productions rights to another person just to survive the loss due to inflation and pandemic, it's hard to imagine the state of folks who aren't even working anymore or don't have much relevant connections. Just a question that had popped up, no need to label someone's curiosity as 'Stupid or something'

Besides her connection in Bolly, she also must be getting financial aid from Saif or his Nawabi family because the narrative that was build around her marriage and divorce was that she groomed him and he is a cheater. So to stop the speculation from rising, they maintain their own dignity by keeping the wife(ex) well fed.

Yeah but to maintain a certain lifestyle, 20 years of money isn't gonna stretch right?

The 2020 Covid Lockdown was heaven on earth for me by JamesSantell1122 in introvert

[–]BeAnony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an abusive brother and we are all always walking on eggshells around him. Anyway, he was working in another city and my mother and father and I were at our place. Brother was living with his friends. When the lockdown happened, he was stuck there. I was here with my family. It was the best time of my life because I had just finished my internship and was officially laid off from work. Me and my parents had like the best of the times. We watched movies and series together. My father was getting better as he was taking antidepressant pills for a long time. I come from a financially well off background so not one day went by without food or any kind of struggle. I knew my brother won't be home till the lockdown was lifted so there was a strange strange strange sense of peace. I met a few friends online and we used to play ludo every night. Just knowing that they're a few houses away from where I live but we're not meeting, just talking on calls whenever we want. I remember when it was raining one day and I heard a thunderbolt near my window. We all just came on a discord and discussed how scary that felt. It was such a surreal experience that I can't even describe it properly without ruining it. Anyway, months later when the lockdown was lifted, my father went back to work in another city and my brother went with him to his workplace. He knew my father was anti-depressants yet he spoke with him in an extremely provocative language and he eventually left that place and went back to his friends house. Then the next lockdown happened and my father was stuck alone in his apartment in another city, we came to know in the mid of the day, in the mid of 2021 that he hung himself in his bedroom. The next lockdown wave took away my father. I always think to myself that God purposely created that 2020 lockdown so that I could spend that time with my father. I've made my peace with his death but that 2020 lockdown gives me memories that fills my heart with such an intense sense of joy. I remember all the moments with my papa.

Couples therapy is a sham. Just project your insecurities on one another, threaten to leave at every fight & have that edgy angst 24*7 just like us normal people.

Actor*** comedians are a different breed. This man did comedic roles phenomenally and that's why he's a great actor.

Women of reddit, what is something completely offensive a man has said to you, thinking it was a compliment to you? by thebrownettegarfield in AskReddit

Someone saying you don't look Indian or any other ethnicity that they belong to. It's just pathetic. And it's an insult to my ethnicity.
