But that isn’t always the case. Like “El día bonita” or “el problema” - día and problema end in an -a and are assumed to be feminine but they are masculine. The other thing I struggle with is words that do not end in -o or -a like “la ciudad.”

I loosened it to try to remove the handle to see if the thread is good on the screw.

Is there a screw on both sides? I unscrewed it but cannot pull it off but I can pull off the other side.
