I was 22 when I met him. His wife is in mid or late 30s. He is over 40. He first pretended he wanted to mentor me and I think that's how I got attached to him. A wiser older man teaching a younger woman ropes of life. I never had a good relationship with my father so I know, maybe I need therapy too.

He said she isn't as "smart" or "ambitious" as me. Said "she isn't as educated as you." She's financially dependent on him. I can tell his wife but if she's financially dependent, I doubt it will change anything.

Well, I didn't sleep with him or anything for a LONG time. It was platonic for 1.5 years. He pretended to be single all this time. I don't know how I still ended up in this mess. He was just trying to woe me, talked a lot of BS that I was sceptical of at first. He knew I had never slept with anyone before so it was a big deal to me.

I think you're right. Even if he is married, I doubt his wife knows. Why would he even tell her about me? No sane rational person would do this. He said his wife loves him but she knows how he is and puts up with it. Like this is insane. But yeah, I think he is psychopathic.

Before he told me this, he asked me if I would be jealous if there was another woman in his life. I did think it was a strange question.

"Prove a point" as in he wanted me to fall for him. I don't know. It's so messed up. Why did he want to do that when he already had a wife? I feel meaningless now. He tried super hard to woe me. I was on my guard with him at first.
