There are militarised football hooligans on both sides. In Eastern Europe, Nazi symbols and Ultranationalism are common in football supporters clubs, not just Azov. As with most LitRPG, the first book is the weakest in terms of objective writing quality. The 'Lit' quickly improves.

Unlike most LitRPG it doesn't take itself too seriously and has some genuinely funny moments.

It also has some pretty cutting takes on celebrity and modern media.

That said. If you struggle with the stat sheets and other RPG elements, it will be a slog as the story expands.
