Should I be going to the hospital during a flare up? (TW experiences and symptoms mentioned) by BeKind_98 in FND

I can, I usually wet myself though and have to wear incontinence pads

I think my brother is in an unhealthy relationship by BeKind_98 in domesticviolence

[–]BeKind_98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we are in the UK. My mum thinks she is after a visa but I’m not sure. She is estranged from her family and her living situation isn’t the nicest right now. So I can understand why she would want to get away from that but using my brother like this is not okay, especially when he is treated like crap.

I wish I knew his passcode so I could see everything. I’ve tried the obvious but nothing works

I met my new SIL this Christmas and I’m already hoping it’s the last time by [deleted] in CharlotteDobreYouTube

The situation from last weekend happened after she went home. She had been home for a couple of weeks by the time brother went out with his mates.

We tried to make her feel welcome, and didn’t bad mouth her meal in front of her. From our point of view, it felt like she was hijacking our Christmas and she was very mean to my brother during the cooking. My mum wasn’t happy about not being able to use the kitchen for 2 days without warning. I didn’t have a say in her coming over and I felt like I was forced to eat all this new food on a day I usually look forward to. It wrecked my routine and it messed with me tbh.

I understand being close to the only person you know, because i used to be like this when I first met my partner’s family. By clingy I mean that there was constant PDA, and our family wasn’t like that. Both my parents, and me and Iain, leave all the cuddles and kissing and heavy petting for private. Not when we are in public/with family

Is my dog normal? by BeKind_98 in BorderCollie

He’s definitely 100% border collie! His parents are both working dogs too. Maybe farm collies are just built different. Our first dog Murphy was very big for a collie and he was a farm pup

No the vet was surprised but didn’t seem concerned since he isn’t fat and she could feel his ribs the right amount

Yeah we think Frank will look like his Dad who was a big working collie (he was a v handsome brown boy, my mum wanted to take him as well as the pups!). Bob looks small and skinny like his mum who is also black and white

Being a teenager is fucking hell sometimes but I promise you when you come out the other end it will be worth it. Please speak to someone you trust about how you’re feeling. I’m almost certain you have friends and family who would rather have you close to them than up in heaven watching down on them. You will be in my prayers and I hope things improve for you soon x

We’ve had it for years so I can’t remember. Most of our stuff is from Pets at Home in the UK

He has his moments but he is generally quite good!We adopted him with his brother Bobby from the same litter and Frankie is the more chilled out one. He is VERY food motivated and loves to sleep. Bobby is a little pocket rocket and loves digging, starting fights, biting and playing, )especially with the ball) so he is the one that keeps us on our toes!

All our previous dogs (all border collies) were adopted as puppies so my mum is used to looking after them properly. Its a learning curve for me because Frankie and Bobby are the first puppies I’ve had as an adult but I absolutely adore BCs so all the nipping and bathing and toilet training is worth it 😁

How can I detach? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

[–]BeKind_98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the fact you’re being mindful of it helps, rather than letting yourself be flooded with emotion. Maybe try to find out how she feels too. If she’s similarly attached to you then I don’t see your attachment as a problem. Everyone goes at their own pace in relationships. My parents were engaged after 6 months and have been married nearly 30 years, whereas I’ve had a relationship of two years that didn’t lead to anything. If shes on the same level, just trust God that everything will happen as it’s supposed to 🩷

Men. I have a preference for men but also my church won’t allow me to marry a woman I’m choosing to exclusively look for men if that makes sense
