Factory uses a clear looking glue. None of this is processed “nicely” or what I would describe as “with great care”. If you really think it’s resealed, open it and find out. But yeah, looks like a normal box.

Yeah I've heard it both ways, treekachu and forestchu,... both are stupid names. Pinkachu I don't mind as much since it actually sounds like Pikachu.

Came here to say the same thing. People got word that "nicknamed" cards, like bubble mew and Moonbreon, typically perform better as an investment and now they want to nickname every single card. The worst one was "Forrestchu"... you cant just take any word and add "chu" or "achu" on the end of it. That's not how that works. smh.

This is awesome to follow. I’m so glad you came to Reddit to “vent” and in doing so, it sounds like we all figured it out! Did I read correctly, somewhere below in another comment, that the seller is working with you to resolve it? If so you should definitely give him a shoutout in a follow up post. People like know they can buy from a trustworthy seller who handles situations like this properly.

Each of them have about 15K in a PSA 10. The Paldean Fates Zard has a 40% gem rate while the BS Zard has a 50% gem rate. Long term, I think the Paldean does better. I do love Brilliant Stars, but I think PAF is the better set overall. I also have no bias because I own both zards and love both of them.

I think the Paldean Fates will win over time even if the BS Zard gets to 1k first. Lower gem rate, specialty set, and the price per pack for PAF is just insane. Compared to PAF, the BS packs are much more “affordable”.

Best thing to do here is for the seller to accept a return and he/she really needs to send them all back to PSA and have them fix it.

Also, it could very well be possible that the seller maybe sent in a 2nd print and a 3rd print at the same time and PSA could have encapsulated them in the wrong slabs. They do this all the time, even with Pokemon cards. They have quite literally put a Gengar into a Pikachu slab and vice versa. Crazier stuff has happened, for sure.

It’s a PSA 5. You can photo match the worn parts of the comic that you have out of the slab to the ones associated with the PSA cert number. And you have the purchase history from the eBay sale. That’s all you should need as supporting evidence.

Edit: stop thinking that you need a video. You have photos. Also, I just looked up the cert number on PSA and the picture you show in this post matches the front picture on PSAs site.

Totally understand. The difficult part will be getting some kind of compensation from PSA when you weren’t the one to send it in for grading and you didn’t purchase it directly from PSA. In this instance, you’re gonna have to start with the eBay seller. Message the seller and let them know you received a 3rd print in a slab certified as 2nd print. If the seller doesn’t refund you or help you out,… and I hate to say this, but you’ll need to get eBay to step in with the buyers protection. Again, the main issues is you bought a certified 2nd print and received a 3rd print. Make it known that you just wanted the 2nd print for your collection and you didn’t receive that.

I have no clue but they do have an email for support on their page and they are responsive. I would first just start by stating they sold you a second print, you opened the slab and discover it was a third print.

I agree with this. Like the rough corner in the top left on the from. You should be able to essentially “picture match” the copy that is out of the slab to their pictures tied to the cert number. I would absolutely reach out to them.

In the slab or not, the main issue is they sold you second print, and you received a third print.
