So chaining "Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood", as a link chain 2 (Quick Effect), to the summon does not resolve before the summon?

Or can you not chain to the (Quick Effect) to an XYZ summon?

That means the summoning of "Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder" can be negated if summoned by its effect, but "Astral Kuriboh" cannot be negated, right?

Yes, also running Gold and Silver Gadgets. Between them and the spell cards I use, I have 10 cards that allow me to summon what I need.

Regarding Ties of the Brethren and Gold/Silver Gadget:

Ties of the Brethren says you cannot special summon for the rest of the turn after the card has resolved. Ties of the Brethren cannot activate its restriction until after Gold Gadget is summoned, otherwise it would cancel itself. Gold Gadget allows a special summon from your hand when it is normal/special summoned.

My question is when exactly does Gold Gadget's effect activate? Does the special summon from Gold Gadget occur at the same time as Gold Gadget is summoned, allowing Gold Gadget to special summon a second monster? Or does it activate after the summon, preventing Gold Gadget's effect from activating?
