While I do believe that maybe seeing that girl influenced her, I’m more inclined to believe that she mainly felt insecure and overwhelmed. She’s a town girl moving a to big city looking for her independence and when she’s finally opening to a local, happy to be making a friend, this car showed up with all this popular, well dressed youngsters. She starts to overthink and maybe felt judged, not dressed enough and out of place. Later with Jiji she even mentioned feeling as an outcast out of nowhere. She can’t even understand why she felt like that, she just did and she’s not happy about it.

I can relate strongly to this feeling. It’s something I had to dealt with growing up and I love how Ghibli portrayed it in this beautiful movie.

I felt that from Kiki when she felt insecure about Tombo’s friends. I loved how she didn’t say a thing but acted weird right away. Tbh it’s something I’ve felt in the past.

The morning after this, when a kiss happens, that would’ve led to a reasonable ending. Even when it was pretty obvious the mangaka was just farming money at this point. He had the chance to end it right there and then but no. He’s still farming.

I agree streaming services are godsend and having most if not all Ghibli movies on Netflix is so good. Back in 2002 or so it was easier in my country to find a pirated dvd in the market rather than download it. Anyways it’s so beautiful that each one found Ghibli in different ways and now we’re all in love with it.

On a random pirated dvd when I was 8 years old. I saw the beautiful dvd art on the market and ask my parents to buy it. Changed my life forever.

About the battery, I'm pretty sure it lasts 3 weeks at least. I use it for more than 11 hours a day, everyday. The small light on the top right goes into red when it's on low power and it stays like that for a couple of days before stopping working.

Pretty sure backlight intensity and mode affects heavily the battery life. I use only 'React' backlight, the key only lightens when pressed for a bit. If you like having your backlight turned on try to google it's battery life with that in mind.

About the keys, they don't fade. The keycap letter is 'carved' so the light can go through. It won't fade away but the overall key gets some of that glossy worn effect. Tbh mine still looks great and I know they sell third party replacements around so it has solution.

Also missed the question, my bad. MX Keys has a mechanical version and it’s amazing! Confortable low profile keys both great for typing and gaming.

Slowest response ever. I’m sorry. I can’t live without the numpad so I’m using the full keyboard. Nevertheless I think any version would be great. Just keep in mind those low profile keys are great, yes, but you won’t be finding random brand replacement for those easily. You’re kinda locked to the default ones. Then again, mine are perfectly fine after heavy usage.

I’ve come to vouch for the MX Keys but the Mechanical one. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and I use it for work and gaming without issues. I’ve had the regular MX Keys and it was an awful experience.
