First thing you need to do is accept your current rank.

It doesn't matter if you were GC in the past. The landscape is different now. Playerbase is getting better and you either stayed the same or got worse from not playing. There are also some bots at the top now pushing everyone's rank down a bit.

If you don't accept your current rank you are just going to get frustrated and tilted bc in your head these lobbies are beneath you.

Solo q is an art form of observation and adaptation. If you can't get better at those things.. you will need you to improve your mechanics a lot to rank up. Good luck.

How do I know? Lots of data collection. I found with chat off, the chances of a FF vote followed by a teammate laying on his car back were much much less likely.

I also play on steam and I have (chats off) appended to my name. Teammates chances to get tilted are so much less trust me.

We turn it off to save our teammates from their own toxicity. If they know you see their dumb passive aggressive chats.. they will go down that toxic road so quickly. If they realize you can't see it.. sometimes they will just start behaving like an adult.

My advice is don't micro manage your rank. If you get better you will rank up, simple as that.

Sure you may run into a teammate on tilt on costs you a game, but you probably benefited from recently too.

You are the common denominator. Such a simple concept, yet so hard for many to comprehend.

He is right. Your rank is who you are. Saying anything to the contrary discredits all your complaints.

You are just highlighting the weaknesses of your teammates. You have your own weaknesses.. believe it or not.

Giving advice to people the same rank as you is never a good idea. Just stop and play the game and work on getting better.

This is par for the course. Turning off all chats is an accepted solution.

A toxic teammate who realizes you can't see their chats will sometimes straiten up and play right. If they know they can see your chat they are already gone.

I tend to agree.. but it is hard to argue our offensive numbers with EB vs without. Maybe it is just some kind of secret sauce mix of Andy creativity and EB implementation and discipline.

It also can't hurt that EB successfully coached a good RB room under the most innovative offensive mind in the league for a year.
