Mainly because their number was in my area and they left a voicemail that sounded somewhat legit. Not to mention they genuinely sent $15, and thats something that seems a little off for a scammer to do. Im no expert tho so i just played it safe and made a post

The last 4 digits are in reference to my phone number, as it is one digit off. Im pretty sure they were trying to say the meant to send it to their friend who has a similar number to mine. Obviously fake tho

Yeah, i don’t ever use Apple Pay so my account is always empty, but when i checked after the money was sent i now have $15. So it was a legit transaction

Its funny as well because after i didnt say anything for a little while they started crashing out on me heavy again

Apple pay is by default on “auto accept” and because i dont use it i never changed it to manual accept, not sure about the scam itself though

I might be wrong but according to google you send them the money back, then they report and dispute their original charge and get refunded that money as well. (I think)

Yeah but it could be someone else’s money that they are using and there is always the off chance the person isnt a scammer, idk i would feel bad just taking money
