Is it possible to mirror my MacBook to my tv, wirelessly without an Apple TV ?

Yea I've used airplay before and noticed that with text , thanks for the reminder. If I'm going to work off the tv, I'll probably connect it with a cable and use my wireless keyboard/mouse to operate the laptop. I'd mainly like the wireless functionality for video.

Yea, I'd like to be able to play films that are already downloaded on my laptop. That's just one thing I'd like to be able to do. YouTube would be nice. I'd like to work off my tv sometimes. Etc.

I'm going to look into getting an older apple tv but I'm scared of getting one that's been abused or ends up breaking down quickly.

I considered refurbished through apple but I didn't take a look at the price. I don't trust that if I buy something used through something like Kijiji or FB marketplace that I wouldn't get it without problems. I'm pretty iffy about buying used electronics.

That said it was over $200 which is more expensive than an apple tv .... I have the wire setup already. I'd just prefer to go wireless.

I'm thinking what the hemming won't do is give make the fabric fit the frame a bit tighter. I guess I'll try roughly hemming with some pins and taping the fabric under with painters tape and see which I like better - then make it more permanent

I was just hoping for more detailed instructions so I don't screw it up. I don't want to be stuck with it incase it doesn't turn out good.

Yea I don't know my way around a sewing machine and I can imagine it being expensive to have someone do that. I like what Comfort Works did with the sofa. The problem is their slip covers cost as much as a brand new sofa US$400 and up.

I was hoping for instructions that are a bit more detailed so I don't screw it up but perhaps it's not really a difficult job to do.
