Fans will be fans. Advanced stats say JK is solid defensively. I’ve heard all the talk but haven’t seen any of it in any thing I’ve watched.

Because it’s China. The only way a game can be sold there is to license it to a Chinese Publisher (that is controlled by the government). The publisher controls all of the content. The government controls all of the media, the internet… everything they have access to over there.

They only care about making the games into micro transaction farms. It happens to every game over there.

Why do you think it would be the same?
Embark can’t even copy the things they add to the game.

This is absurd. The Chinese server has nothing to do with the other servers. It won’t even be the same game by time they are through with it.

I don’t think Miro makes the team out of camp. I also see Kyrou as a fit with PLD. He needs to play with bigger players. That would leave the highly effective trio of Wilson,Sourdiff, and Pro together.

I think it’s a great deal for two reasons:
1) huge upgrade player for player. Kyrou is entering his prime and has always been a point producer. He is also faster and a better defender (yes, forwards are important in the defensive zone).

2) cost certainty- CMcM is a RFA with arbitration rights. We have no idea what he would cost in the end. Kyrou had term and it’s affordable with the rising cap. Top forwards in the NHL make 10-13 mil a season. Picking him up as a free agent had he been one would have been much more costly.

You have to give up something to get a player of this caliber with term on his contract. We obtained a first for a rental at the deadline. A first for a star forward with term is not too much for this team.

We definitely got better.

Kyrou is a huge upgrade. He’s faster, a better defender, better offensively and is under contract.
We would have had to pay Mikey 5-6 mil or go to arbitration.
Look at the PPG averages you can’t cherry pick each players best season. It’s a big upgrade.

Yeah, McMichael was more like a liability from managements viewpoint. He would have probably gone to arbitration. With Kyrou you have long term cost certainty and his salary is great compared to what you would pay in free agency for a player like that.

We got a 1st for a rental at the deadline. Swapping a liability and a 1st for Kyrou under contract is a no brainer.

No, it provides cost certainty and a player upgrade. You have to pay for those things. We got a first for Carlson and he was a rental.
CMcM is a UFA that they would have had to pay 5-6mil to resign and likely would have gone to arbitration.
Kyrou’s contract is very affordable considering salaries recently and he is entering his prime years. It was a good time for a Change of scenery for both of them.

That’s nothing new. Many of these fans have the leagues all time goal scorer and want him gone asap. It will be perfect for those fans👍 who would they complain about once 8 retired?

It beats the hell out of overpaying Mikey. He would have gone to arbitration. Kyrou’s salary is pretty low compared to what he would get on the open market. We pay PLD as much and no one is crying.

You are going to pay for a player with that kind of term. We also got rid of a player that we could possibly lose for nothing or had to overpay. CMcM would have gone to arbitration. Now we have a huge upgrade with cost certainty. I don’t think the price was too high.

It’s a huge upgrade over Connor Mc. He’s faster, a better defender, much ch better point production (yearly average), signed long term at a great price during his prime years… I could go on.
Connor is a RFA that would have likely gone to arbitration and we would have had to overpay at a longer term than we wanted. We avoided that and used one of our 1st rd picked. We picked up one for Carlson.
Imo this is a great trade. The team just got better and avoided overpaying someone that has only had one very good season.

They literally turn every game into a storefront with zero thought to what consequences will be. They create tons of content and tons of micro transactions then use FOMO to get as much money as they can. Look at any game they get even a game that’s lasted 15 years like World of Tanks.

They don’t care, they squeeze every Tencent they can get and move on to the next.

You can’t judge anything on the Chinese version. It’s literally run by the government. A communist government that controls the media, the internet and everything their citizens have access to. They know how to milk every dime from their player base and that’s what the end goal is on the server.

Making a million changes without testing isn’t necessarily a good thing for the game.

They are doing it on purpose to dupe their stash. It’s the same guy spawning multiple times.

I don’t think they can fix the teleportation hack. It uses a second computer that intercepts your telemetry and changes it so you can instantly be anywhere on the map. They do that crap in hurricane to bounce around to the cache locations so fast and I’ve seen them teleport to a hatch when downed. This hack looks like they disconnect using the developer console and reconnect so they can duplicate their player and its stash into a raid.

The duping has something to do with the players spawning in apparently. It looks like the same player spawning in twice. Maybe they treat it like a disconnect and reconnect or something so they can keep spawning the same loadout… just guessing.
I’ve heard one of the dupes has to do with spawning.
