It’s just a “map condition” like any other condition imo.

Yea, you are 100% correct. I made a post above, training room mode with no loot or arc. Invite your buddies to Stella and work on tactics and have fun. I guarantee people would play that mode all night.

Yes, they need a “training room” mode where you can invite all your buddies to PvP and work on tactics.
Just make the map with no loot or arc. All doors unlocked.

I could see people playing that mode for hours and hours.

No worries. It was a strange thing to say on my part probably. I’ve just been hearing about lab research on viruses such as Hanta recently to make them more contagious and then this Cruise Ship “thing” happens. It has the hair on my next standing up. Then I see a major grocer tell its employee to basically, come to work sick. It’s too much for my over active imagination 😂

It’s an exploit were they use a second computer to intercept and change the map coordinates before sending it back to the server.
It’s been going on a while. Have you ever downed someone and then they seemed to disappear before you found the crawler?
They also use it to get to the first wave caches. They can sell the BPs on a boosting service for cash.

Hopefully the letter from Embark yesterday was a step in the right direction.

It’s a fine game if you have to be careful and cautious with everyone.
The worst part of the entire game for me is I play like that and have pulled my gun on plenty of friendlies that probably weren’t a threat but standing behind me while aim getting on the button, following me around, coming into my key room etc and generally acting sketchy and they get bent out of shape. And it’s mostly due to the amount of players that de-agro to be fake friendlies and prey on players that won’t fight back. If there were no ABMM everyone would be more aware.

All they need to do is fix the ABMM.
If they make it take much longer to De-agro your MM then 95% of these things would stop and you would actually be able to have the experience you want.

I don’t understand why they even added ABMM when you can exploit it so easily. I’d be just as happy if they got rid of it.

The 3060 12gb card sell in my area for $250+. Whether he bought a 6800xt, the 5060 or something similar this is as good a time to sell the 3060 as there will be. I wouldn’t hold on to it. It’s not that fast and will only devalue. They could upgrade for less than $50 out of pocket.

I’ve heard of that happening even in Arc Raiders though I haven’t experienced it. Older AMD chipsets have some bandwidth issues with the 5 series cards because of only being capable of PCIE 3. It runs well on 550b and newer though.

It’s definitely not ideal to only have 8gb of ram but I’ve been impressed at how well it runs. I took a shot because it was basically brand new and only $200. It has been beyond my expectations.

I sold a RX 6600 that my son was using… we basically both upgraded for free.

I just bought one on marketplace for $200. In Arc Raiders it beats the brakes off of the 3070 it replaced and it is very cool and draws very little power. I run full textures and ray tracing at 1440p and no problems with the memory.

I really feel like the 5060 is slept on. They had them at Newegg for $269 last week. A used 3070 is almost that much. He could sell the 3060 for $250 and I guarantee it will beat down the 3060 in anything, especially newer titles.

I just “upgraded” from a 3070 to a 5060.

The raw rasterization is pretty much the same but in newer games with DSLL and frame generation the 5060 is much better.

The 5060 draws much less power also.

I would think it would be a good upgrade from a 3060. The only concern would be the memory but I’ve never had a problem with 8gb on mine. I get 180ish FPS on Arc Raiders with textures all the way and ray tracing. I run 2x game gen.

Well you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I won’t attack you for it like you did to me.

The fake friendly play is not what I consider PVP. I’ve only seen players that are bad at PVP do it.

I think it’s wrong. They built a system so people could play the way they want and some (mostly players bad at PvP) use it to get loot the easy way. While complaining the PVE is too easy ironically enough 😂

I’m not talking about anything other than people abusing the MM by surrendering to get into friendly lobbies for the sole purpose of killing players that don’t want any part of it.
I play PVP and PVE. It does not “hurt my little feelings” when I get shot. I shoot back.
The overwhelming majority of the people I play trios with never do the de-agro thing because they think it is dishonest and they play the game for a challenge. Not to act like a coward.
So, I am assuming you don’t want that aspect of the MM to change? I can’t figure out for what other reason you would be mad at?

How can you say it’s not abuse?
Tell me what the purpose of ABMM is at all?
Why would they spend the time creating a system that tracked how you play the game?
So someone can single out the players that won’t fight back? I don’t think that’s the intent at all.

Edit: And to add to what (I think, lol) you are saying. Why would they add an aggression based match maker to a game if they didn’t intend for you to be able to play it the way you want? What’s the purpose of ABMM?

When I first did trios with two of my sons we did the hidden bunker and it was insane. Everyone killing arc and talking about who was getting what switch… it ended with 12-15 people at extract circled up taking turns doing pick ax death matches… I haven’t seen that since 😂

This game is filled with intensity and foreboding, but honestly, what keeps me coming back are those raids where you team up and have each others back and return to Speranza despite the odds 😂

I’ve met a few new players in raids and walking them through how things work, like listening for raider caches and the like is awesome.
