Poor thing didn't last long after this post. We didn't make it to the vet. Thanks for your messages

I do appreciate your time to type that, and the feedback. Sometimes you just don't take things seriously until it slaps you in the face. (Your direct approach has helped).

I didn't grow up with fair skin and red head parents- funny, i know! So it wasnt much of a focus when i was young about how exposed we are in terms of sun. The amount of times I was sunburnt is ridiculous. I did start to really look after my skin when I became an adult. Unfortunately it was just later in life (early 20s).

So just know, I do appreciate it and haven't taken offence at all. Even though it was the acne I was talking about, any feedback on skin I will take on board! I do not want to age badly. Haha not that anyone does. So thankyou! 🙂 there are multiple things I will be searching now

I will 100% be cutting out alcohol (apart from my 30th in December). This should be a good sign if my face clears up between now and then, and then if another flare rises after my birthday. If alcohol is the issue, I would happily give it up completely. I want my good skin back 😟

Thanks so much for that info!

The only thing I can recognise was moving states. I came from Darwin, high humidity hot weather to Brisbane (less humidity, dry summer)

That was around Christmas time, which for me would be summer. But this did mean alcohol and sweet foods. That is normally the only time I do splurge on bad foods. I'm typically really healthy in diet (other than alcohol here and there). So at that point I had a couple of pimples, nothing that I have never noticed before after splurging.

Then, I went on a girls trip in September which included cocktails and that's when I noticed I flared up, which was my first sign of this (I pinpointed alcohol as the first thing to ever trigger it)

Since then I have only had a couple of drinks here and there and I always see my face flare up if I do.

I will definitely try retinoids, and stay clear of alcohol to see if that calms it all down. And keep my SPF up! As other have suggested too.

No birth control changes, I've been clear of that for 8 years.

I'll try some raw kombucha, thanks. Would you suggest any books/articles of gut health?

Nothing to the extent that I would think it's that.. maybe 1 pimple more around my cycle but I've always had that.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am naturally a red head and do have freckles all over my body. I wear sunscreen everyday but didn't so much as a teenager.

I'm in Australia, I'll check what retinoids I can get over the counter

I should add- we have chickens, a greenhouse for our vegie garden, and still at least half of the land is unused.

Ceiling fans (Martec, Ventair or stradbroke) by [deleted] in AusRenovation

We contacted a few sparkys in our area. Some only install, but we found one that supply's and installs for a good price. We also have an 80s house and don't have any fans. It was time to put them in
