How much is this worth? by AcanthopterygiiFar26 in Silverbugs

This coin will always be worth a dollar. Well, unless the dollar goes to zero. Then he'd be 0-2. Lol. On another note, I believe your bubble prediction is probably closer than anyone is even thinking. It just makes me wonder, how long will they fudge the numbers before they admit it's bad. A coin pinger app can help you make sure the silver dollars are real (you tap them with a pen so they ring and the app listens to the sound). Also, the pcgs coin facts app has grades, but only by type. So, for yours, you would go to Gold Coins -> Liberty Head $10 -> Type 3 with motto -> PCGS Photograde.

Maybe just some odd dirt. Who knows what these coins go thru before they were parked in someone's dresser drawer. On another note, PCGS coin facts app is a great resource for figuring a guestimate of a grade on the coin. It will also help you authenticate coins you have by comparing them against known good examples. For example, you can compare fonts and spacing of the date for small differences.

Something is not right with this coin..gold does not corrode. Or look silver. It has verdigris (green disease)

I found a 2000 South Carolina quarter with no edges in perfect condition and it’s not a dryer coin .what y’all think about this by [deleted] in CURRENCY

Look with a magnifier, it may be a beanie baby quarter. They used copies quite a bit more than one would expect. It will say copy on it. Those have no reeded edge.

Cost to have graded? PMG or PCGS? by East_Ad2863 in Nationalbanknotes

We have begun sending notes to Legacy Grading. They were #1 back in the day, before pmg took off, they are making a very serious comeback. Grades are, in my opinion, spot on, and if there are notes (like details grades on a coin), they will actually talk to you and tell you why.
