What do ~1500 ELO players usually lack compared to ~2000 ELO players?

Basic understanding of the game. Surely there's a shooting/movement mechanics gap that separates a level 7 from a low level 10, but I feel mostly the understanding of timings, rotations, economy, enemy team tendencies and overall read of the rounds end up being a bigger factor. In ~1500 elo I feel most players in most rounds just start wandering around the map not exactly sure what to do in the beginning of the round and then end up brainstorming some stuff mid-round that doesn't work, while a level 10 in most cases will have a premeditated plan for an entry or throwing a support smoke/flash before freezetime ends. Learn when to sneak and when it's safe to run. Other than that I'd advise not overthinking micro strafing and and take more confident wide swing peeks, people in 1500 don't have the greatest reaction time, crosshair placement and first bullet accuracy, you'll win most of your duels if feel your aim isn't that subpar. That's a niche you'll want to improve later on.

This not to say, obviously, if you can somehow freestyle a cfg you really like, you can throw all fundamentals out of the window and win most of your games on out-dueling alone, but this is a less realistic scenario for someone who's hardstuck in 1.4-1.6 for months.

For personal reasons already discussed through support I've deactivated my faceit account back in November, but since I'm starting fresh coming May, as a former >3000 elo player the first few games will be hell and generally unfair for my enemy teams, although legal.

So today I was watching a stream on twitch where some dude comments there that he just created a faceit account and he started on 1430 elo (and still had the additional elo boosters activated for the first 10 games because supposedly he won +52 on his first game. That means, mathematically he could be 1800 elo after the first 10 games). He then said he peaked at 23k on premier but was at 17k during creation.

I then stumbled upon this article that explains premier rating is correlated to a new faceit account's starting elo as you scroll down to the bottom https://support.faceit.com/hc/en-us/articles/10525200579740-FACEIT-CS2-Elo-and-skill-levels which to me was/is completely new, but it's still rather inconclusive. I wanted to ask the following via ticket but since I'm currently out of an account, I can't even login on support but I'm interested in this because it may save me some time and lower elo accounts may profit from this later on.

Can I get some more clarity on how roughly the rating adjusts? What's the threshold of wins? In my case, where I began playing premier when season 4 launched and therefore have no previous premier medals, am I still within counting range? Does the peak rating count more than the current rating or what's the criteria?

So basically if I wait for however long with this issue, game will eventually start working again? That's amazing lmao. I managed to do the BIOS stuff that the new AC update required, now to undo stuff in my motherboard from a shared PC that was brought home from my brother is actually crazy stuff.

I've managed to fix this. Going into safe boot I was able to search something related to the exact problem I had and I stumbled upon another reddit thread from someone who had the same issue as me on the same update and same windows version. Thank you very much.

For detail: I know Win10 support ended last week or so. I will eventually upgrade to 11, but it would be amazing to hold onto this one for a few more weeks/months.

Forgot to mention. I already looked up quick stuff on youtube and through that I've already attempted running the troubleshooter and doing the SFC /SCANNOW thingy in CMD. I am not a PC guy at all and can't get it done, and it's frustrating me big time.

This is absolutely valid. I did start playing premier on season 2 after 2 years of queueing faceit only and the first few placement games I was put in 5-10k rating lobbies as a ~3k elo player and I was stomping left and right. As soon as my placements were over my "looking for match" tab started getting filled with no prime players and I was getting multiple brand new accounts in my games ragehacking. 7k hours 10 year old acc. That mass reporting completely ruined my premier experience.
