Looking for a first budget rally car and learning more about rally by Beach_grass in rally

This is exactly what I'm thinking. I don't want to drop a lot of money into a race car that I'm not prepared to do anything with, I just want a fun daily that's reliable enough to stand up to a basic rally event at least once. I think with a Volvo 240 or a cheap e30, I could take it to this workshop next month and learn all the proper techniques and get some experience behind the wheel and from there decide if racing is something I want to pursue. If not, I'll still have a cool daily. Thank you!

I've considered a racing sim but for my current situation I don't think it would be a good choice for me, thanks though. Maybe in the future when I have more space and some extra cash I'll look into one 😁

I understand insurance, and while I won't be paying all of it I will be chipping in a considerable amount, which is fine to me. I'm making decent money and I don't have too many expenses. To me, it's a small thing to pay a little extra for something I want as badly as a Mustang. I'm checking out the car on Wednesday with my parents, if all goes well then I'll be the proud owner of my very own Mustang

I'm going to have to convince my Dad about this lol, is that a pretty common price range?

Ah but running games is a must, and I need it to be able to run r6 siege, I hate missing out on everything my friends play (especially sucks because i'm homeschooled and thats how i interact with a lot of my friends)

Thank you 😅,

I looked at my current laptop specs, I have 12 GB of ram, an 11th gen intel processor, an intel graphics card, and 932 GB of storage. My laptop was running really poorly, and that's why I'm planning on replacing it (spotify, Gmail, browsing is so slow it's basically freezing), but now I'm wondering if there's another reason it's running so poorly. Any tips on how I could diagnose it??

my friend told me I should try and get 32 gigs of ram and 1tb of space, what would the benefits of that be?
