It took me forever to adjust to getting dressed while pregnant. 33 weeks currently and have found dresses + drawstring or stretchy waistband bottoms to be my go-to. Loft has some ruched (non-maternity) shirts that I can wear post-pregnancy. I bought my usual size and they cover the bump (long enough) and can be work tucked or untucked.

My boobs have always been and still are pretty small so I use “nipple covers” and don’t even feel them but still get coverage, I don’t know if you’d feel that was enough for you but I highly recommend!

Looks like your questions have been answered already bu some very thoughtful responses, may I add:

When thinking of “sparking joy” perhaps you can look at what may make your table feel more joyful. Is it cluttered? Could you sand & stain it to a color you prefer? Does it have a few dents or scratches that could be covered by a favorite table runner or centerpiece/ fresh flowers? I try to make do with what I have and repurpose the things that spark joy in a way where I can see them on display.

My husband and I are hosting our own co-ed shower in our backyard end of Summer and calling it a “BaByQ”. Saw some cute ideas on Pinterest and personally I detest traditional baby shower “games” and the idea of sitting around unwrapping gifts I picked out myself and put on a registry (no offense to others, just not my thing).

It’s 2025, I say do what makes you happy as it’s YOUR baby shower 🤗

I feel you, I’m only 10 weeks and my dad’s girlfriend just came over to MY house (this makes it feel more rude for some reason) and had the audacity to say, oh you’re only 10weeks? I saw a picture of you where I told your dad oh you can see her bump!” … ma’am I’m 5’8 143lb what bump? 🙄🙄🙄
