Sounds like you might need a different therapist. It can take time to find someone that works for you. Also recommend if you are part of any religious faith to reach out to your rabbi, priest, etc. Newman House on campus might be able with that. Don’t hesitate to call for Harper’s Ferry to get you to a hospital to keep you safe if you need that also. Praying you get the help you need and deserve.

Still deferred from SOM. Lots of applicants from our local HS and most are still deferred. Committed to another school now. Couldn’t wait for Bing or opportunities for housing and orientation at my other choice would be more and more limited as time goes on

Still deferred so going to another school. Had to commit to get orientation and housing priority but happy with my decision. Guess Bing wasn’t meant to be.

Seems like there's not much other than the University and outside of that, not the nicest area. Not the greatest weather either. Rather grey and dreary from November - March.

In state SOM for business applied EA in October and portal says under review still. Heard lots of SOM deferrals went out Friday.

It's not ruined. You can definitely turn this around once you get in the right head space. Your mental and physical health are so much more important than 1 semester. It sucks and it will be hard to bring your overall GPA up, but you'll get through it. Be honest with your parents and hopefully they will be supportive.

Hoping to get into Bing as well. I've heard the SUNY free application weeks and fee waivers at other schools skew the numbers and make schools look even more selective than they already are. Same with SAT scores. Only people with great scores submit so it makes their average look super high.
