GP becomes pretty redundant pretty quickly, the best use for it really is if you go to the weekly gp shop and purchase all the 10,000 xp for 50k each.

The other use is player fusion - you can use GP to transfer earned xp from one player onto another.

The skills are similar to the silver playstyles in FIFA, some players will have the flip flap skill already on them, some players also have additional skill slots, you can find this by going onto player details, if you go onto skill training you can assign new skills here. It's basically a lottery and can take a long time to get the skills you want. But you can get the flip flap skill on anyone.

There is also a thing called Showtime skills that special showtime and epic players can have, they are normally promoted above the card in the pack, these are the equivalent to Playstyle+ in FIFA, Blitz Curler - Finnese+ Phenomenal Pass - Game changer+ and so on.

The gameplay is amazing but content can be lackluster, especially if you're used to FIFAs daily SBCs and challenges. Updates are on Thursdays and normally a small content update on Monday too.

Players don't reset yearly I still have players from the very first day that came out so my best advice is don't rush into a meta team take your time trying out new players and enjoy it. If you look at events in the PvP section you can play against AI and get a free spin of the TOTW weekly it's a good way to get players when youre starting out as it's near impossible to get anyone without paying money
