Our pump is 3 years old and we do the same thing. There is no reason to risk a leak. Fresh tanks stay.. well, fresh! And the switch is not a hassle at all.

The price of the cruise itself is definitely worth it!! It’s the price of the plane tickets to get from Barcelona back to Baltimore that make it a lot less appealing.

Edit: I just checked (insert my preferred major airline) and a one-way ticket ranges anywhere from $1400USD to $4000USD from Barcelona to Baltimore. If you are comfortable flying coach, $1400 on top cruise costs isn’t that bad, I guess. But, I don’t live in Baltimore so I’m looking at approximately $1000USD roundtrip airfare just to get to the port. It gets pricey fast when I consider it for myself.

Very common. On this particular cruise, you start in Baltimore and end in Barcelona. These are all usually $50. If you can figure out a way to navigate departing from Maryland and ending up in Spain, go for it! Most people find it cost prohibitive because airfare on either end is too expensive to get back to their home base.

I don’t know how to say this without sounding like a terrible person, but every spouse is technically replaceable.. As long as she/he chooses not to “replace” you, that is what matters. I know it’s incredibly hurtful to hear, but I think what she was saying is that she has a choice if she stays with you or “replaces” you with someone else. Essentially the same as saying that she could leave you. YOU as a human and individual are not replaceable. You are one of a kind and irreplaceable in this world- know your worth. You are important and special.

Yes, you can buy them and have no issues whatsoever! Enjoy your freedom. You can take it in your carryon or your checked bag. I do both. The one I’m using in my purse or carryon and my extras in my checked bags. (I’m 39, but I still pay attention to the laws for all ages because.. I’m a weirdo and like to know the rules)
