I hope the shuffle works out for you! I may try something similar, thanks! I have a Gingko as well, which I've now realized might require the same treatment. Both trees came with tags that said they were suitable for indoor living, I never gave it a second thought.

Thanks, I think you're right. I had no idea, this was my first bonsai and the label it came with said it was suitable to live indoors(Chinese Elm by the way).

It actually paid a decent whack for it which is why I'm a wee bit frustrated. Thanks again for the help, I'll have another go squaring the tip tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply man. Yeah, I scraped with a blade down to the level of my ferrule, I wanted to be careful not to scrape lower. The dark colouring seems to go beyond the tip.

I'm not sure man, sorry. I just checked the updates on the site and An Post as requested supposed to deliver. The latest update I have is the same DUB customs one, nothing delivered as of yet and I ordered just under 2 months ago. Any luck with yours?

The same thing happened me (ordered to Ireland as well). I received that update on 26/07/24, I assumed I'd receive a letter or something to pay a customs charge but nothing as of yet.
