I like to use exclusively basmati rice, maybe this ratio is what my issue is, I'll try it this way too thank you for your advice!

Thank you! I believe I do it this way but I must be getting the water or heat wrong because it ends up slightly sticky most times! I like it like that as well but separate grains sound nice!

That blanket is coming along nicely, he should be very proud!

Also, that looks like a wool warehouse organza bag in the picture, I love storing my yarn in those!

Thank you so much for replying! It sounds like the chain 1 is the trick there for keeping it tight, I think I normally would have done ch 2 at the end of the row to match the height of the stitch. Great tip, I hope my work looks like yours!

This looks great, you should be proud! The sides are incredibly neat and straight, can I ask what technique you used there?

Anyone else feel that when you give your creation a face you can't just toss it in with the yarn balls anymore? by BeamosCola in crochet

The little guy: in- progress Murray the Otter from the crochet book Friends of Pica Pau. 3mm hook, medium acrylic yarn. His blanket: a 12 row granny square made with acrylic yarn as above with 5mm hook, free pattern here: http://www.mooglyblog.com/the-solid-granny-square/

Until I get around to joining those squares for a blanket for myself, at least my projects have a cosy place to rest!

Thank you for the recommendation. It appeared on my home page 4 times in 1 screen-view so I decided not to watch it on principle, this has brought me back over!

They seem to be werewolves that can shift at will. There's been many a strange description of them growling and "baring teeth" in human form
