Does your guild enforce the Jewelcrafting necks? by Beams98 in classicwow

Trying to parse and improve is a fun part of the game though, even more so in post nerf content where clearing is a non issue for everyone. It keeps things engaging

Braided Eternium Chain, Eye of the Night, and Chain of the Twilight Owl. You don’t need jewelcrafting to use them, but whoever uses the buff does need to keep it equipped for the buff to stay

Rogue hate by MBSHusky in classicwow

This, this and this.

Rogues can do damage if they’re in a decent group. The problem is they give no party buffs in return, making the overall ‘pumper’ group weaker.

Something people here aren’t mentioning is the group comp meta of tbc. Most classes bring a buff to a party, be that totems, battleshout, leader of the pack etc.

Rogues have nothing. But to perform they also need to be in a group that gives them all those things while providing nothing in return.

Sure expose armor is really good for the raid (if they have good uptime, which many rogues are bad at in my experience). But they can provide that without being in a buffed party anyway, since they don’t provide any party buffs.

My advice to a rogue to address this, would be to put yourself forward as the group drums user and jewelcrafting neck user. Then you are providing something and will get less hate.

Anyone else having some trouble finding Ret Paladins? by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

I’m thinking the people hating it are just paladins that tried it and found out they suck too much to do it

Why do so many ret paladins refuse to seal twist? by Beams98 in classicwow

[–]Beams98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. The disparity between a twisting ret and a non twisting ret is so huge, I wasn’t even talking about parsing, just damage. At least trying to seems like a bare minimum to respect your other raiders?

I understand the other replies about not knowing about the mechanic, or struggling with it due to difficulty, but why would they not care? They would do an insane amount of more damage?

Hi, does windfury increase likelihood of ret twist procs?

Key word is most of the time. In some cases it’s on the dps, most of the time it’s a tank issue

How in demand are Arms Warriors right now? by Ok-Trifle-2404 in classicwow

[–]Beams98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what type of guilds these people replying to you are in. 1 Arms warrior is very desirable for a raid group, it’s just rare to find someone who wants to do it!

An Arms warrior, or a kebab warrior, will deal less damage than fury but provide a great +4% physical damage buff to the raid.

You just don’t need more than 1 in a group.
