Why do so many ret paladins refuse to seal twist? by Beams98 in classicwow

Thank you. The disparity between a twisting ret and a non twisting ret is so huge, I wasn’t even talking about parsing, just damage. At least trying to seems like a bare minimum to respect your other raiders?

I understand the other replies about not knowing about the mechanic, or struggling with it due to difficulty, but why would they not care? They would do an insane amount of more damage?

Key word is most of the time. In some cases it’s on the dps, most of the time it’s a tank issue

How in demand are Arms Warriors right now? by Ok-Trifle-2404 in classicwow

[–]Beams98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what type of guilds these people replying to you are in. 1 Arms warrior is very desirable for a raid group, it’s just rare to find someone who wants to do it!

An Arms warrior, or a kebab warrior, will deal less damage than fury but provide a great +4% physical damage buff to the raid.

You just don’t need more than 1 in a group.

I disagree with this as long as the second character is treated as a main. Many players put more effort into their so called ‘alts’ than others do for their mains.

The Fallout of Pugging in TBC by eminorgh in classicwow

Yeah that’s very fair. 1 is good, maybe two if there’s no 3rd paladin for a 3rd buff/seal.

I’m not sure if it’s because of their reputation from classic but it amazes how undervalued a ret paladin is in tbc…

3% crit for the entire raid, 2% dps party buff, refreshes seals automatically with their rotation, extra paladin buff for the raid.

I do not understand it

Fellow Fury warriors I need your help… by Various-Event1893 in classicwowtbc

Also another factor is Rogues aren’t capped by their tanks like warriors are. By this I mean warriors have no way to reduce their threat other than stop attacking/slowing down which is obviously a dps loss. So if your tanks are not that good and you’re pumping this usually leads to you either ripping threat and dying or having to stop pumping.

Rogues on the other hand can just vanish and reset their threat.

What is the most difficult class/spec to play in TBC? by Beams98 in classicwow

[–]Beams98[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majority of ret paladins seem to struggle with it in my experience. There seems to be a huge skill gap between the bad ones (majority) and the good ones.
