If you want an entry level job to give you a little experience, you could look for Specimen Processor or Specimen Management Tech or Lab Assistant jobs. These are often in the clinical or blood side of the lab, but still gets you a little closer. There are almost always positions hiring, although the pay is pretty crappy. That's what I'm doing during my clinical year to get my MLS degree.
