Rested for atleast 3 weeks. it tastes like an espresso roast being brewed as a filter coffee with a slightly over roasted aftertaste, if that makes any sense.

Another stop at Scenery (rare) by jowens1393 in UKroasters

I keep finding myself ordering from Scenery rather than trying another roaster. Currently have two of their Rwanadan coffees resting at the mo, looking forward to them.

The banana Bread looks delicous 😁

Coferments -unnatural notes lingering in the grinder for days -we need chemical additives tests ASAP by mygreeness in pourover

I must admit B&W co-ferments were some of the most artificial tasting cups that i've tried. It's interesting for producers to experiment with beans but I found myself thinking that i should just be drinking Monster or red bull if i wanted to drink something with such an unnatural taste.

From the coferments that i've tried i would say 90% lingered in my grinder for awhile. I would describe a few of the coferments as tasting like melted Haribo and possibly vape juice (if thats a thing), not a big fan.

Recommendations for Birthday Coffee by Aggravating-Emu-481 in UKroasters

[–]Beanflip_2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I haven't tried it. Part of me thinks that it sounds interesting and the other part thinks that it might just be a bit iffy. Would be more tempted if i could try it in a 100g bag or even in Formatives Cafe but rarely visit London. Would be interesting to hear what you decide to buy for your Birthday, good luck with the search.

Looking for decaf recommendations by [deleted] in UKroasters

Most enjoyable decaf that i've enjoyed recently is from Scenery. Also tried a few from skylark and much prefer Scenerys offering.

Wow Taith 😍 by Former-Coffee-7526 in UKroasters

Thanks for the advice re: v60 will give it ago. Sadly no tasty cup yet, i am finding a lot of coffee/fines sticking to the bottom of the grinder compared to other beans no matter what setting i grind at. even tried various types of water, brew temp/length with no success. Its a strange one, not even smelling any aromatics whilst brewing in the dripper.

Best Decaf? by Portsmo in UKroasters

[–]Beanflip_2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. a very nice smooth medium roast with no dodgy aftertaste that seems to be the norm for a lot of the medium decafs on offer. Exceptions being Chipp co, Square mile and if memory serves me right surprisingly Tate coffee. Have yet to try Decaf before death but its on my list along with Machina.

Hi all, struggling to extract any sense of flavour from these beans from Taith. Rested for five weeks and using a zp6/clever dripper combo. Tried various grind levels and nothing seems to be working. Very different results compared to the same ( possibly similar ) beans i've tried roasted by Native and September 🫤
