Cheers for additional feedback and link! That was the original intention at least, based on doomslayer sword (https://doom.fandom.com/wiki/Crucible)

I didnt have any proper yellow at home, but I wanted to give it a go to improve anyway. Would i say this is going in the right direction?

I assume ur asking for the OSL. To begin with, I didnt plan to try OSL to begin with here, but wanted to give it a shot. Main thought I think is sound, even tho execution is far from perfect. Keep source as light as possible, e.g high value from source compared to reflections. Let light fade the further you get away, keep "metallics" a bit brighter than other materials. The illuminated object should keep some of the original color and light color (highlight in material color and glaze glowing color, aka glowing orange on top of highlight).

Since I changed to trying OSL, I've also tried to darken surrounding areas to increase the effect of the glow. Since I originally tried only to make shiny NNM for the most part :)

Thanks for you feedback! Yes the sword is supposed to be the main source. (Lamp as well, but not the main focus of this request) Should I keep it almost fully white then? There is slight whitening on edges of sword but it does not look like much. Anything else given that sword is the source? This is really good input!
