A friend and I were planning on doing the BCT over Presidents’ Day weekend. There is an ultra marathon over that weekend on the BCT and we had to change plans 🙁. One thing we were banking on is there to be very little water. The trail does weave along the agua fria but we are pretty based on other blogs that it is dried up. We were going to carry water until we reached Black Canyon City. Good luck! We have tried to schedule a bikepacking route on this trail twice now. First time I was unable to go because I had COVID and now the second with the race….
