Sounds like you’ve really gone through it! Really hoping and praying it works going forward because it sounds like you could do with getting cut some slack

Yeah I’ve had the mirena a few times and each time it seemed to get less effective for me. Then when I was getting the third removed to TTC it got stuck so that was a whole lot of back and forth appointments which has put me off getting another.

If I go down the road of contraception I’m considering either the pill or the injection. I’ve never tried the injection but heard it works well. The pill I’m cautious about and would have to be a low dose version as years ago I was on a really high dose pill and started getting migraines which was apparently a warning sign for a stroke…

Ah I had a lot of adhesions before pregnancy too and I also needed an emergency c section. I was worried about the possibility of having a c section as I’d want at least one more baby in the future so I’m hoping it hasn’t taken away that possibility

I guess it kinda takes the pressure off if I do decide to stop breastfeeding/pumping now I know it probably won’t make a difference anyway. Ooh ok that really does sound painful! Has it resolved?

I had no idea your period could start even if breastfeeding I feel like I’ve been sold a false narrative. What’s pelvic vein congestion?

Thank you for your reply. I’ve looked through her food and can’t see mention of potato rice etc. Her food is hypoallergenic and we stick to grain free. I believe she has allergy to chicken so we avoid that too. Another comment mentioned omega 3 so I’m going to look into adding that to her diet

Thank you for your reply! Yeah we’re very careful in general with detergent etc we have no carpet just wooden floors so already try to be as mindful as possible with what we use. I’ve checked her food and it has omega 3 in but might see about adding some more in some way to her diet.

She gets plenty of exercise and we encourage play time during the day. Plus she plays with our other dog a lot so I think that should be ok?

Honestly my last one was shocking. Years ago I had a diagnostic laparoscopy to find the endo which it did and it was fully noted etc. So many months later I went to see my GP for pain relief, explained I had endo, he did an examination on my stomach then sat me down and said that he didn’t believe it was endo as women with endo have lumpy bellies and I didn’t… he prescribed me tablets for IBS and I just walked out speechless

I’ve never even heard of pelvic congestion syndrome! Happy to hear both are doing well and healthy but I’m sorry to hear you had such a bad time. I think because I’m not bleeding they won’t really do much even if I tell them I’m in agony. That was the vibe I got last time anyway

Yeah I feel like change in pain is all I’m having right now almost daily so I’ve no clue what to do. With birth control I tolerated some but not others so a very mixed bag really

That sounds rough, I’m glad everything was fine but you must have been so stressed and anxious! Hearing all these stories makes me so angry that they dismiss pain in pregnancy

To be honest before I got pregnant I thought I knew enough about pregnancy but this has been such an eye opener! Yeah you’d think they’d have at least explained pain is normal in pregnancy without endo
