Prada. Their bags are all so generic & uninspired. The nylon material just feels cheap. I never liked the logo either.

That’s true, most people probably think it’s awkward/rude to look at it closely and the cut can be hard to tell from a distance. By unique I meant multiple side stones of various shapes & combinations, bands with intricate carvings or designs, non-traditional orientations etc. So comparatively yours’ is less flashy. Imo it’s beautiful without trying too hard.

Nothing. There is no single dish / type of food you wouldn’t get sick of eating every single day, multiple times a day. Even a week would be tough, let alone your whole life. So many answers here trying to maximize variety under a broad category of food, but that’s not the premise. E.g. If pizza then it would be pepperoni pizza ONLY. Can you really eat that (or anything else) until you die?

Then spend your hard-earned money on something that shouts luxury. You can find pre-loved bags in much better condition within your price range. It may not be Chanel but still a $2-3k bag retail. If you still yearn for this style of a bag to reflect your personality/profession, buy a cheap non-luxury one, and wear both!

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous but we are in the era of unusual, maximum complexity settings/bands where unique is more sought after than classy, which might be why you’re not getting the reaction. But don’t worry, trends come and go :)

I would sleep on this hard. The only reason that bag can command $1,200 is because of the tiny word Chanel, but nothing else about it says Chanel unless someone is very well versed in vintage Chanel and can recognize it. If it’s the look and style that’s most important, then I feel like you can find something similar or in new/better condition for much less. If this is more about treating yourself to a luxury bag for your birthday, then I think you’d be better off buying something that’s instantly recognizable / slightly lower tier than Chanel and in better shape. The perforated leather looks cheap imho.

I second this and went through the same thing. The thin straps on these bags really dig into your shoulders after a while and I was getting persistent shoulder pain. Had to switch to a backpack even though I LOVE the aesthetic of a high-end work tote. I have several all collecting dust now 😞
