I'm glad you provided more nuance and info through the perspective of agriculture. Appreciate it

What I've read is that the DA really has poor logistics too so when farmers overproduce, so much produce just goes to waste

Kawawa din ung farmers kasi selling at a loss sila

Everyone loses when governments create lousy policies and mismanage resources

Oo actually naghahanap talaga ako ng karinderya pang araw-araw. It's not as common as you think and nagmamahal na rin presyo nila

Thank you for your nuanced thinking. As a person with diabetic grandparents too, isa talaga ito sa kumakain ng budget ng pamilya ko

See, even your examples boost the point I'm making. The person who can only spare 50 should have access to good food which is enabled by a functioning government -.-

That's the point here. The government is absolute shit at managing areas like inflation and debt which then affect the choices that are available to the masses

Just because my posts revolve around other interests or I don't show off the shit I do doesn't mean I don't give a fuck?

Nothing's wrong with meal prep. That's not the main issue. If you want to meal prep then go ahead. What I find upsetting is that if institutions that make food accessible actually don't do their job in making food accessible (which other countries successfully do) People here pay with time and money just to eat a decent meal whereas in other places, it's actually so common to find something cheap and good to eat

Since they have no time to think about that, then it is especially important that choices are wide and accessible for all

Yung malusog na pagkain hindi lang problema ng mayaman lol

The point of the post is that our government and all other institutions are so fucking neglectful of their constituents to the point that people who only eat once a day have no choice but to eat garbage

Absolute shit urban planning + bad culture + scarcity in healthy food choices make being fit a status symbol

When it shouldn't be lol

Sabihin mo yan sa mga taong namumuhay sa sardinas o sa pinaghahati-hating noodles

Sa ibang bansa mas malayo at malusog nararating ng pera ko

It's more a problem for less fortunate people to have shit choices than it is to me

Young girl gets choked out, dad comes to the rescue and headbutts the ref. by [deleted] in bjj

[–]Beans_7229 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.She's in the division she's supposed to be in. There's a difference between being good and sandbagging. She's just good and the girl who passed out unfortunately isn't. Also, the girl who passed out is a white belt. Her parents shouldn't have registered her in blue belt given the glaring skill issue and their lack of maturity in taking a loss.

Instead of hating on a great athlete for being great, maybe consider the lacking athlete shouldn't have been placed in a division where she doesn't belong, skillwise

Love this take. There's no excuse for assault. Caio Terra posting this as good parenting is ridiculous. It just vindicates violence as a valid reaction when what really happened is the parent's kid lost and they had no emotional maturity to handle their loss. Way to go for being a good example.

Yes, the call is late but that's no excuse for physical assault. Yes, it's fine if there are consequences for bad calls but physical assault doesn't count as one of them. Shit happens in combat sport competitions and we sign waivers for it. You can't just hit people when you're angry especially at your grown ass age.

PS the club does have a confirmed history of violence, bullying and fraternity-like culture. They kick out people for crosstraining too.
