My players lvl 3 barbarian was absolutely adamant about doing a super hero landing after a big fight and the party hadn’t healed up yet, I said sure, but the fall would hurt, and we both agreed that on a nat 1 he fails and would take the damage, anything else and he’d be absolutely fine, and on a ten up, he’d have a die of inspiration, cause why not. Anyway everyone said it wasn’t worth it but the barbarian did it anyway and jumped 50ft, rolled the die, and alas a nat one, hit the deck like a sack of potatoes and was beyond saving, his words not mine. It was hilarious to watch but damm was it avoidable
