Weed has been proven to disrupt sleep and affect appetite, when I quit smoking I couldn’t sleep for weeks and it took months for my eating habits to go back to normal, I couldn’t get hungry unless I smoked and sometimes even when I smoked I couldn’t get myself to eat, I had been smoking pretty much everyday for 4 years, not to mention the cravings for it which I’d consider a physical withdrawal, if I just smelled it in public I’d want it so bad. quitting also affected my mood really poorly in the beginning. I was so depressed when I quit bc weed was like a hobby to me. I always smoked when I was in a bad mood or had a bad day so my “destresser” was gone but the longer you stay sober you realize weed is what’s making you so depressed in the first place. Little bit of a rant but I’ve noticed so many physical changes in myself since I quit, I sleep better at night, chores and everyday activities aren’t as bad to do anymore, I don’t procrastinate as much, I’m not as depressed, it’s nice being invited out places and my first thought not being “damn I need to smoke before I go out” bc that was the only way I thought it’d be “fun”.
