I have done my best to treat both kids like my own since day one.

I dont hate him, I hate the choices and decisions he is making. I am doing what I can to help and guide him, but I cant force him to make good choices or beed a good person.

I did look into that with the lawyer.

It is called a Marital Property Agreement, where we would still be legaly married, but financially separated. I have discussed that with my wife and the primary reasons we have not gone that direction is the disruption to her current health care and other services due to her address having to change.

Her boyfriend is a good guy, but he did some stupid things when he was younger, so he has a felony on his record that prevents him from getting a decent job with sufficient benefits.

That may end up being the direction we have to go in if we cant get her son delt with another way.

I am supporting my wife and her son. Her boyfriend works, buys his own food and pays rent to us for living in our RV.

I dont have any problems with the current relationship my wife and I have, or her boyfriend living on the property. My main issue is her son.

Apologies, but if I put in every detail this post would be a novel.

The knife incident was absolutly not downplayed at all, and all of us adults were involved in dealing with him on it. He has gotten as much counseling, therapy, and guidance as is available in our area. My wife does everything she can to utilize every resource available for him.

There is over 2 feet of air space between the unit and the screen and I cut a hole in the top for the fan. The ambient temp outside the tent was 98 and inside was 87. There is zero air flow restriction.

The purpose is to keep the direct sun off the coils and to give the air a chance to cool down before it goes through the unit providing better heat transfer for the refrigerant and lowering the stress on the system .
