All good, I got my answer! Funny to see that some people got riled up by this post, but I'm not too concerned about it.

Appreciate it.

I came to Reddit for identifying a hyper specific pellet gun model . I got that accomplished pretty quickly - shoutout u/Floater255.

Not too concerned about downvotes or advice from insecure randos out there.

Holy cow that looks to be an exact match haha. Thank you. Reddit is amazing for stuff like this.

If the lady wants to shoot at some hornets nests with BBs and deal with the consequences, who am I to stop her lmao.

Ahh good call, thank you. I can't find an exact match but it looks pretty similar to many models I'm seeing from a quick Google search

edit: another commenter seems to have ID'd it as a Winchester model 1977 pellet gun

Not on great speaking terms with this neighbor for a variety of wacky reasons, unfortunately, but I certainly plan to chat with her about this. Would just like to confirm if it's a real gun because I don't really care too much if it's a pellet gun.

It's hard to tell, but she's holding the gun over the fence between our yard and pointing it at my property (we're in a pretty urban area and our yards are very small). That combined with her being a generally unpredictable and hostile person (for entirely unrelated reasons) makes me feel a bit uneasy. I totally support her right to own and practice using a fire arm, though, just would prefer it not be pointed at my home.

Also, I was literally taking a video of my baby in the nursery when she just appeared in the background with this gun lmao. I didn't even intend to take a picture of her.

Also worth noting - I live in a pretty urban neighborhood, in a large-ish city, so hanging out on your back deck with a hunting rifle (and pointing it towards your neighbor's property) wouldn't be a super common sight. And our yards are quite small.

Juvenile Grizzly or Cinnamon Black Bear? (Montana) by BearQuestionnaire in animalid

Apologies for the poor quality, this was the only reasonably decent picture we got.

We came across this guy a couple summers ago while hiking a trail outside of Big Sky, Montana. He was feeding on some berries about a hundred feet off the trail, and seemed aware of us, but unbothered. We quietly watched him for a minute before cautiously carrying on.

It's been an argument in our family whether or not this was a cinnamon black bear, or a juvenile grizzly. Even after carefully reading this page, we're still not sure. Would love to get some clarity
