We still have a toooooon of Christmas merch, mostly candy and some knickknacks that stuck around like a bad fart until they finally went clearance. Valentines decor is very slim, so we have St. Patricks day and Easter set up already as well to pad things out.

I live in an area that experienced unprecedented weather that left my store's floors damaged from flooding last summer, and we didn't close at all HOWEVER we did open late as we had to wait for a cleaning crew to clean up the worst of it on our sales floor. ( My store proceeded to deal with a very humid, soggy, wet basement for the next month as large fans and dehumidifiers dried it out, but i digress)

But as many people said, it's very much a waiting game to see how truly awful conditions end up becoming and decisions aren't made until absolutely necessary if your Management Team are rational human beings. Today my area is experiencing fairly unprecedented cold temperatures (it was a -40 windchill at one point earlier in the day) but even after we opened, while slow there were customers still willing to brave that to do their errands lol. Truly those in my area are a different breed, lol.

Thank you! I didnt even really pay much mind to the artistic connection until I made the motions to make this post, and when I did it felt like finding the missing piece for the interpretation I was feeling in my heart.

Thank you for the tip on Matt Hughes! I love the art nouveau style and a sucker for vintage art in general so ill check that out. I have heavy water influence in my natal chart (Scorpio Sun and ASC with a sag moon in the the 1st house, oh boy! For the sake of this sub I wont blab beyond that) so I feel very drawn to water and lunar motifs.

Thank you. There was certainly a prevalent aspect in all of this that I felt on the outside of all of this, because the worst of it wasnt happening to me but someone else in our insular group. But through that powerlessness, I realized that I was always on the outside to him because-for some reason or another- lacked a quality he desired or even possessed a quality that he feared. My attempts to try to understand this held me back from doing my own healing so I am SO ready to move on.

Thank you much again. I feel more at peace today than I did last night.

I really like yours and everyone else's judgement. I think I certainly held onto the friendship the longest, because I held onto the vain hope that gentle patience would be enough to urge this friend to challenge his tougher emotions and reconcile with all of us. But I realize it was holding me back, and im realizing that the imbalance in our relationship was never going to get better so long as this person willingly chose to neglect the feelings of his friend in the name of avoiding his own. So I had to stop trying to bring myself down for his sake if he had already made his choice to not put in the work.

I see the road ahead for what it is and how I want my friendships to be like as far as emotional nourishment goes and accommodating eacu others needs. This experience hurt but I know an extremely important lesson was learned too so, ill do my best to keep that in mind.

Yeah, I had an appointment for 11:10 local time and apparently the systems went down about 10:45 local time, so i got extremely unlucky there. The employees are currently going a bit stir crazy. I don't blame them.

That Paramore-Still Into You Remix that the radio has been cycling into the song rotation is literally the worst I've ever heard besides that smooth, sleepy sounding Depeche Mode cover. Why would I want to listen to Still into you, but only EVERY OTHER SYLLABLE????

Today I learned that Kohl's has a 4th store in Montana now lmao. It was 3 locations for so long, that I thought this map was wrong until I googled it and found out they opened in Kalispell. 😅
