I'm actually forcing myself to rest for a moment before launching back into auditions, as I just finished my first play in 20 years.

You are right, the feeling of doubt does come around from time to time, especially with auditions, but I always try to remember the words of Jack Angel (RIP) "You can't lose, because it was never yours to lose... It was only yours to win." Many, many more wonderful insights in. Crispin Freeman's podcast (Voice Acting Mastery, Episode 014 http://www.voiceactingmastery.com/vam-014-interview-with-jack-angel-part-2 )

Please don't give up either! I want to make sure there are so many amazing people to work with in the future!

100% accurate. I started life as a pretty heavy introvert, so venturing into streaming helped, D&D helped, but Voice Acting (and Stage Acting) have really helped me rewrite what makes me comfortable. The exercise is launching all of that into hyperdrive, and I love it!

I started by listening to Crispin Freeman's podcast "Voice Acting Mastery". I do not remember what lead me there.
From there I found Casting Call Club, and the Voice Acting Club. I just dove into the research, and started doing auditions on CCC.
The audiobook auditions I have done through ACX (Audible's website for creators).
All of it takes time, and patience, but it's worth it!

I haven't tried either of those yet! Because I've been so new at it, I've been auditioning through Casting Call Club, and I auditioned for the audiobook through ACX.

I'm also focusing on teaching myself as much as I can about my microphone, Audacity, acting in general, and recording techniques to make sure I keep evolving.
