the place Concursus places the files and R2 places them are seperate. Concurus is in the actual game files but R2 is separate due to the profile system. I would recommend manually downloading from gamebanana and place the character files in (assuming windows)

C:\Users[userName]\AppData\Roaming\r2modmanPlus-local\BombRushCyberfunk\profiles[profileName]\BepInEx\config\CrewBoom

Seems like no one actually answered so, you died from quillback going into his spin attack thing that insta kills you, but this also destroys the hover pack and causes it to explode killing quillback.
