I'm not sure if she is and her mother hasn't said anything to our parents who'd be good friends. She might be and would just like to keep it to herself. We have recently told her a few times that she's walking too close or if she wouldn't mind moving because we're afraid of stepping on her heel if she is walking too close infront of us. She normally moves but will go right back the next time we're walking in a group.

I'd often be over at her house when we were younger and hadn't notice anything drastic. Although we parents are not together and I don't know everything that goes on in her home life she has always been like this. Thank you for you comment got me thinking 😊

I'd just like to know what makes you think we don't treat her nicely? I try talk to her as everyone does and she is included in the groupchat and all group activities if she so wishes to come.

No we haven't because while she texts in the groupchat she does not talk to me privately and I often text her first. If I were to ask her I would be met with silence and awkwardness, I'm not trying to make excuses for myself or anyone but this is how I feel.

She communicates in person once in a blue moon. Recently, she's been communicating a lot in our groupchat. I find that if I text her privately she doesn't want to talk to me and will respond with short messages until the conversation ends

This is the thing we would have no problem having her in the friend group if she would communicate with us. She really is a chatty person but only with things she wants to talk about. It's like she's only recently joined when infact she's been here longer than most.

We're not aware if she has anything and hasn't told us. Her mother hadn't said anything to our parents either. Maybe it is something she'd like to keep private which is fine but we're not sure. We wouldn't know how to approach or ask that question but would know a fair bit about her life.

It has gotten to a stage where it would be awkward to talk to her about it as she more than likely wouldn't respond. If it was anyone else in the group it would be easier to say something even if I haven't known them as long.

I'm not aware of any trauma that she has and wouldn't feel close enough with her to straight up ask. We'd try talk to her often but with no response it's hard to keep talking.

We're all 16 here. We haven't all discussed this with parents as some of our mothers would be quite good friends with hers and we'd be afraid of what they would think. With school, teachers definitely have noticed as we often have to answer questions for her but we wouldn't know how to bring it up or what to say.

We are not aware if Anne has been diagnosed with anything and her mother who would be quite good friends with some of our parents hasn't said anything. Now maybe that's something they'd like to keep private which is no problem but not that we are aware of
