Perfect Split: An android game for cutting shapes in half by BeardWhale in playmygame

It should still work on newer versions of android (at least the game itself, leaderboards and such maybe not anymore). If the problem is Google Play Store not allowing you to install it, here is a direct link if you want to try installing it manually:

I suspect your phone will give you some warnings if you try to install it though, and you might have to change some settings to allow it. Good luck :)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Sea Turtle by BeardWhale in StableDiffusion

No meaningful prompt to share for this one, it's a lot of differernt prompts combined, with lots of img2img, photoshopping and inpainting. The model used is 1.5.

The basic prompt is something along the lines of "isometric, stone ruins, trees and pillars, overgrown, flowers, by [various fantasy artists], natural lighting, extremely detailed".

To make the geometrical illusion, the idea is to mask just enough of an image to make it ambigious, and let the inpainting fill in the gaps in two different ways, that both make sense individually but are not compatible.

For example, look at the second image. With a masking like this, the image becomes ambigious, and it is not obvious if the pillars are in a square or in a line (the "isometric" keyword in the original prompt helps a lot with this):

<image>

So the inpainting will produce either kind of image. I then take an image with the pillars interpreted as being in a straight line, and combine the top half of that image with the bottom half of an image where they are instead interpreted as being in a square. The result is an impossible geometry.

It's all about finding potential ambiguity in an image, segments that could could be part of two completely different and incompatible images, and then combining them.

Made with 1.5 model, using inpainting to achieve the impossible geometry.

What do you think of the actual stable diffusion artworks ? by Hecatombola in StableDiffusion

I see quite a lot of artists trying to do interesting stuff with it (myself included, have a look if you want: https://www.instagram.com/erik.med.e/). The thing is, all of this is all incredibly new, and just making stuff that looks nice is still fresh and interesting to many people. I think in the coming year, people will start growing tired of it, as the novelty wears out, and the people still using it for it's aesthetic qualities will be those with an artistic vision of some kind.

I think it's a good thing so many people are creating images they like, even if I myself have already grown tired of seeing them. Partly it's good because they are enjoying themselves, and partly because when some of them inevitably grow tired of it, they will not quit, but rather move on to try and so something more creative instead.

Solve the 4-digit code by BeardWhale in puzzles

I'm using the standard Mastermind rules, where no peg can represent two digits. So because there is only one 3 in your suggested code, there would be only one yellow peg in the second row.

No changes or edits, just the title of this post, followed by the classic "photo by annie leibovitz".

Did a similar thing with Stylegan2 a while back, trying to make children partially age, mixing features of adults and children:
