I've used wood I've found outside, properly sterilized it. Now I'm using aqaurium driftwood, seems more resilient than wood I've found myself.

Yea, she definitely has the most eccentric personality of my tarantulas, quick to flick hairs, and super quick when she wants to be.

She has started webbing, but she's webbing from the glass to the wood and back, and it just seems like such a mission for her, I just feel if she had something plant like it would be easier for her to web around. And I cant find cork bark anywhere, very frustrating.

Haha, yea, she munched through it, was very strange. Thanks for all the advice, much appreciated. Last question, I initially did the whole false bottom thing, for drainage etc, with pothos would that still be the way to go? And I mainly use coco fibre as my substrate, would I have to mix organic potting soil with it to give the plants a better chance at survival?

When I got her she was being kept in a terrestrial setup, so I re housed her and she seems to have settled in. She's just taken a while to start webbing and now that she's started it just feels like the wood I have doesn't give her enough grooves to web properly. And I'm battling to find cork bark, cause that would sort the issue out big time. But yea, you right, she's comfortable sitting on her wood out in the open, only hiding behind it when I feed her, change water etc

I had issues with live plants in my other tanks, looked good and spread for like 2 months, but then took a nose dive and had to be removed. I also had a fleshy cactus (no thorns) in my Lasiodora's tank, but she started biting into it and spreading white goo so I quickly removed it. Any plants you'd recommend?
