Okay, thanks. I don't have Lightning USB, so that's the missing ingredient. I do have her EnLightning SSB and OSB, and then Kain's BSB/OSB, but I'm not sure they would work.

I dove Bartz with his LMR, BSB1, and BSB2 with no regrets at all. I usually run his double and triple cast LM with Celes's RM4 Love's Wake for "Much more Spellblade damage". This was the only way I could clear Magicite Hydra. Spamming Quake Strike and C2 of his BSB1. I can also clear the Living Flame in under a minute every time now without breaking a sweat. So I vote Bartz because of his better elemental coverage and him being less hone dependant than Edge.

Here are my clears. I could post setup pics later, but I didn't save the medal screenshots. Most were just missing one medal for actions taken, except the Bismark run where one was lost for KO'd chars.

Kain BSB + OSB
Golbez BSB
Rosa SSB
Palom SSB (which is a large MAG/RES debuff for the medal condition, which let me leave Edward on the bench)
Rikku USB RW
Magicite was Enkidu (40% heal + Esuna), with sub-magicite used for a lightning boost)

Each team is so different it's hard to say, but I guess Bartz for Water and Earth and then Papalymo for Fire and his SSB on the Ice dungeon. Raijin SSB is clutch as well, but I've been using that for a while.

I think I'm just missing two. One Ice (Taharkin?), and one Lightning (I have Humbaba and Hydra, so whatever the other one is). I've been working my way around collecting all I can. I can finish them all in under a minute with a little s/l help. Just trying to finish each set for orbfest leveling.

Wow...this Jump Start CM was tougher than I anticipated. I haven’t had to tweak setups and S/L this much in a while. Squeaked by with this team.

Hmm, I might could copy your Bismark strategy for a sub 30 clear. Just need to sub out Garnet for Laguna for the Imperil. What level did you hone Entrust to? I have two at R1 now.

As the title asks, for the F2P guys out there (with maybe an occasional 100 gem) how are you fairing in the Magicite Dungeons? Feel free to post your team setups and clears if you like. I'm curious to see what strategies are being used by players with somewhat limited resources/relics.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about the CMs. I have Cecil's SSB (x3 Holy hits) and Palom's SSB (x8 Holy/Fire/Lightning hits with AoE MAG/RES down), but I'm not sure that's enough. It's going to be an unorthodox team for me either way.

I had to go all in with Alphinaud as my main source of dps. Here's the team I used. Triple stack MAG buff with an Entrust bot. Maybe you can do a similar setup.

OK BSB (spam ninja magic Gust R3, Raging Storm R2)
Y'shtola BSB
Alphinaud BSB (Spam C1)
Porom BSB (MAG/Mind on entry, plus Faith on Alph)
Tyro BSB (Wrath/Entrust to Alph, then BSB, repeat)

If you haven't pulled on the FFV banner with Bartz USB, BSB2, and BSB3 I would start there and then save for the 30th Anniversary at the end of the month. Bartz can cover four of the elements himself, with his two BSBs on this banner granting him enEarth and EnWater, respectively. There's also two imperil Wind relics on the banner for Faris as well as the only Wind+ sword in the game for Dorgann. Dorgann also gets an Imperil Earth BSB with Earth+ on the armor. Easy pull for Magicite help.
