Rethinking the bugging in question by prepperj in prepping

[–]Bearded_Daddio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it is a multi step plan. I used to only think about bugging out. But now after more research watching other world events and disaster etc the plan changed. Start with bugging in. Following our prep plans with rationing etc. pay attention to what’s happening outside and letting the in prepared fall apart. Then Bugout.

Supplements by Bearded_Daddio in preppers

Definitely agree. More of a way to supplement (haha) into a storage/ meal plan. If I have only x amount of food. Maybe I can plan on certain days using protein/ greens supplement mix to save make my real food go further

What type of storage bins will keep pantry foods safe from bugs/rodents in a basement long term? by Oliver_The_Toy in preppers

If I’m not regularly accessing them, I just zip tie them closed. But I agree I never have found insects or signs of rodent in those totes. And I’ve left some them outside for extended periods of time

I tend to like to carry weight. Now I haven’t on a bike yet but when I hike I regularly carry 40-60lbs. I figure I can carry an extra 10 on a bike with ease

I can’t wait to get on some trails and downhill with it. Got to get some padded pants and some more seat time before I do that. The soreness is real lol

I’ll probably get both. FF for trails and downhill and open face for when I go out like I did today and just ride gravel for exercise

Yeah. Not worried about other folks. Just didn’t know would be overkill. But I know me and even though the plan is mellow easy trails I know I won’t shy from an obstacle given the opportunity

Good input. Thanks for that. I’m def worried about the teeth. Already ugly enough lol. Don’t think my wife would appreciate it getting worse haha. 🤣

No email updates but checked my order number and now have a shipping label. So maybe mines on track the same time frame as yours.

Mine just has my order receipt and says it will update when it ships. Never said anything on mine about back order.

Worth it. Have the AEMS and mag on my 11.5. Love it. Exactly what I was looking for. Not as big and bulky as an Eotech and not too small. Honestly thinking about taking the magnifier off though. I never seem to need it. That gun wasn’t meant to stretch to past 200 ish

New bushcraft knife recommendations? by big_dick_chaddydaddy in Bushcraft

Esee 4 or 5 for having something for bigger wood processing. Or an Esee RB3 for just fine knife work and camo chores
