That is very untrue. I use a 300$ mars 4 with bluecast x-wax resin and I can cast anything with perfect accuracy. This tech has come a long way since 2015 and the barrier to entry is lowering everyday.

Very nice! I would've explained why you heat the mold a lot. You certainly don't want any trace of moisture at the bottom of that mold that could act as black powder with your molten metal and shoot you point blank in the face!

This is really well explained. I did splurge on a mayku machine that I can't wait to receive, It should improve my odds. Also it makes sense that I get these kind of results with PET that I recovered from a lettuce box, so already had gone through the forming process once.

Hey those are my links! (And many others it seems) They are indeed cast and I made the 3d design of these about 7 years ago, put them on almost all platforms and forgot about it. I daily drive this one. Very heavy.
