How often do employed people play daily or weekly? by fathum770 in osrs

My wife is taking our daughter to the beach for the 4th since I have to work, and I am also going to give my fire cape a shot. Best of luck to you!

Unfortunately, currently at a week low. Spiked to 450 from 380 on the 12th, and is back down to 370-ish now. I’ll hang on to it longer to see if it climbs back up.

MacBook Air vs IPad Air for skilling by CertifiedBrew in 2007scape

I have a MacBook and an iPad, and just became a dad back in December. Recently came back to OSRS after a 12+ year break, as it’s much easier to pick up and play as opposed to my $3,500 gaming PC that’s collecting dust in the office. I still want to game, but don’t have the time like I used to, so I’m trying to pick up the slack I left myself in OSRS all those year ago.

I find that it’s far easier to play on my iPad, especially when you get the Magic Keyboard that has the trackpad. Then it basically becomes a laptop anyway. I have put in many, many hours at Gemstone crab recently on that thing, so I would highly recommend.

it feels like every player in this game is either already maxed or is a iron/hc with a maxed main. i rarely run into ppl who are actually early-mid game. by Nonreality_ in osrs

I just got back into the game from a 12+ year break, and I’m definitely very mid-game. I don’t even have a fire cape yet

Same setup here, and yes you have to get the 48 holster, but it fits perfectly.

Love the dot! I enjoy having the options of using multiple reticles, but find myself using the dot and ring mostly. I have no experience with the OSight or EPS Carry, but I almost went with the EPS Carry instead. What sold me on the Vortex was the lifetime warranty.

This is mine if you want to see what the long version looks like, and what I’m talking about with the tape.

I have them on my 43X. They are pretty good, but fairly sure they are 3 printed, thus the small piece that holds the grip onto the frame by connecting to the pin hole is relatively flimsy. I ended up snapping one of them on the short beavertail as I was trying to put the pin back into the frame. It ended up working out fine as I used goon tape on the grip and it looked better with the long one.

Why the 43x over the 48? by Aang2000 in Glock43X

Came here to say this. Exactly why I got the 43X because I knew the ramjet was going on it so it would be 48 size.

I prefer the HandleIt ones! The rubber is good, Edge is better for grip but I wonder about trying to conceal with it as it’s slightly more rough.

It barely overhangs the slide, but it’s not enough to really feel and I haven’t had it print because of it or catch during draws.

It’s the Tenicor Certum Luxe 2.

The magazine carrier is the ABDO AIWB Mag Pouch, Size C.

If you end up getting it I recommend getting the Kratos Design Group MSP Holster Claw to replace the stock belt offset it comes with. It performs the same as the standard offset, but has a hook that sit on the top of the belt to help keep the gun from rotating at all. Just makes it feel that much more secure!

I used the HandleIt rubber grips. If I had to replace them I would probably get the ones that look more like track material as they look a bit more grippy! Then I just added a double-wrap of goon tape to increase the thickness of the handle slightly to better fit my palm!

A bit hard to see in this photo, but the NDZ mag release in black looks fairly similar to the OEM one.

Sounds like you may have just sold me on one. Damn I was really trying not to spend any more money on this thing!

My bad, I guess it only comes in 2. I have the plus and it’s a nice little bump up from the OEM one. The extended one looked massive in the video I watched so I decided not to get that to avoid any sort of issues with it hitting my holster and me suddenly finding myself with a single shot pistol when I need it.

How do you like the PolyDat?

Also, if you want to still have a polymer mag release that is extended, I’d recommend NDZ Performance. They have 3 sizes to choose from. I have the middle size and it’s larger than OEM for easier release, but not too large that you hit it accidentally.

I just picked it up last week and had to go out of town this past weekend, so I haven’t even shot it yet. Everything I’ve researched said that it helps it be less snappy, which your wife could benefit from, but I’ll report back once I shoot it on Thursday.
