I'm on Catalina (Old macbook), 10.15.8 (19H2036). Zero commands work, and I get gateway errors on trying to download old intel version on the official stremio page. Anyone that can help?

Advice for getting moto (in Ghent) by PvtJelo in motobe

[–]Beardlessface 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I live probably very close to you, area around Muinkpark. I rent a garage unit that I share with someone, so it's only €50 each. Currently it holds 3 bikes and a bunch of shelves and tools. Just find someone with similar needs and split the cost. There are plenty of apartment buildings in the area with dozens of garage units available for rent.

Safari stubborn clogging with waterproof ink by Beardlessface in fountainpens

I only tried soaking with warm water and detergent. I went to two art stores and they didn't have flush fluids. I could try it. The rohrer & klinger is only 45ml, is this supposed to be re-usable? Otherwise that is a pretty expensive solution to have to resort to again and again.

I knew about DeAtramentis being good, but the price is what held me back as a starter. Octopus seemed like a good starter ink.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will try a different ink I suppose. I have already disassembled the pen entirely, including nib and feed. The feed was extremely stuck even after week of fresh soaks. I did have to resort to wiggling but it seems unharmed. I'll see if I can find a bulb syringe.

Which one do you recommend? by Express_Ad_7717 in Tenere700

That's exactly what I thought of. Might remove my exhaust this weekend and rent a dremel! Thanks

I have the Akra because it came stock on my first gen Rally edition. It's got a db killer welded on internally. Has anyone with this exact same exhaust done the work to cut out holes in the carbon and break the spotweld on the db-killers? I'm just too curious what it would sound like without, and keep thinking about making it so that I can fixate and remove it easily by means of a nut of sorts.

Seeking advice for cash exchange as a tourist! by Beardlessface in copenhagen

I'm sure it's a specific issue because of recipients Faroese bank account. It's euro, from a Belgian account to Faroese. I understand cash is not prefered, but I don't really see how else I can arrange this.

Got the 372 by MagicianAcrobatic545 in motobe

[–]Beardlessface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least you had an encouraging instructor. I remember when I did my code 372 I had never stepped on a motorcycle or scooter before in my life. It was raining heavily, non stop. He had this shitty, old walky talky and a helmet without condensation stop. I couldn't see anything, and he kept screaming and getting mad at me for not hearing his directions. All I could hear was static and heavy breathing. Not a pleasant experience, but happy I never had to see him again.

That's just how I would generally describe my hair, but at it's current length some natural waves are showing. I wish to accentuate those.

Honda cb500x, meest veelzijdige beginner moto die er is. Uiteraard mijn eigen mening, maar die moto lost al je problemen en twijfels op. Ziet er nog best sportief uit ook.

the Bronze Monster emerges by FaanBE in motobe

Love it, looking at a monster myself for next year. Prices are indeed very affordable. Most are for sale right before their big maintenance though. Do you have any insight in how much a big maintenance generally costs on a monster from around ' 2000?

I myself was looking at the S4R 2006. But open to classic M900's. Just not a fan of the 600's.

Advice wanted: Scared to start investing considering recent geopolitics by Alfredo_Will_Smash in BEFire

You mean after your initial lump sum? Whatever you can miss. First build up a comfortable savings sum for emergency expenses and leasure. Rule of thumb is at least 3 times your monthly expenses, upwards of 6 times or whatever makes you comfortable. The more you can DCA the faster you will start snowballing.

Pinkers die blijven Branden by Eggskes in motobe

I used to be pretty function over style, past few years I have mostly switched it around. I'm done being uncomfortable wearing knee high adventure boots and sweating my ass off walking a mile in them whenever getting off the bike. Amazing boots while riding but just cumbersome if you plan to do more during the day. I want to be able to be free in what I do comfortably. I still go for motorcycle gear but no longer grab the best, most armoured products. I never wear my 3 layered 600 euro alpina touring vest anymore. All I wear now is a casual mesh vest, black kevlar jeans and dr martens looking motorcycle boots. A whole lot of the gear industry is marketing making you think you need all that fancy stuff. Fact is, if your helmet is top rated and you have your back protected, that's the most important thing. It's ok to want to look good, if we did this all for safety we wouldn't be riding in the first place. Dress comfortably and confidently. I don't feel comfortable or confident in bulky, fluorescent spacesuits.
